How many bars of soap is each listing for?

While the images of soaps and other products may show multiple items, each listing is for one individual item, unless otherwise specified.

 
Will my item look exactly as pictured?

Each item in the shop is 100% handmade in small batches in a dedicated, sanitized workshop in my home. Due to the handmade nature of our products, there can be variations in color, shape, size, pattern, etc.

How should I care for my bar of soap?

To prolong the life of your soap bar, it is best to use it with a well draining soap dish. Allowing the bar to dry between uses will prevent it from going "mushy" and dissolving too quickly.

 
I have an allergy to a specific item, can I use your products?

We use a variety of ingredients in our products, all of which are listed on the individual product’s page and physical packaging. At some point, an ingredient may have been in contact with another ingredient in our workshop. This would be similar to a warning that says "This product has been processed in a facility that also processes ______".  It is important that you are aware of ingredients/allergens that could affect you and know that we do use other ingredients/possible allergens in our workshop. How quickly will my order be fulfilled?

Cella Soaps is a one woman show! I will try my best to have orders filled and in the shipper’s hands within 1-3 business days. Sometimes life gets in the way, but if you haven’t gotten a shipment notification within 5 business days, please contact us at cellasoapsllc@gmail.com to resolve any issues!

 
How long does shipping take?

Our shop is set up to calculate shipping based on current USPS rates, but we will always look for the best rates and shipping speeds. First class mail can be used for packages >1 lb, but may take up to 7 days to arrive to their destination. Anything larger than 1 lb will most likely ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Shipping times are usually estimated at 2-5 business days, depended on the distance from our location in Maryland.

If there is a difference of over $2 in the paid for shipping charge and what was actually charged for the finished, packaged order, a refund will be processed for the difference.

 
I entered my address wrong and need to update it and/or I want to cancel my order.

We cannot update an address once the order has shipped so contact us as soon as possible to correct your shipping address. If the package gets returned to us, we can invoice you for the updated shipping address and resend it out.

Orders cannot be cancelled once they are in the possession of the shipping company. Please contact us as soon as possible to cancel any unintentional orders.

 
Can I return my order?

Due to the personal nature of the products we sell, we cannot accept returns on any items for sanitary reasons.

If your order arrives damaged or not as expected, please reach out to us at cellasoapsllc@gmail.com to determine what happened and how we can resolve it.

 

GENERAL PRODUCT WARNINGS
AND CAUTIONS

It is the responsibility of the user of the products to use the products properly. Always be aware of personal allergies and irritations. Spot test all skin products prior to full use. If any products cause irritation, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician. Cella Soaps LLC is not responsible for injuries or accidents. Strongly colored soaps may discolor wash cloths.

This website is owned and operated by Cella Soaps LLC. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors the ability to purchase handmade bath and body goods. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

The prices we charge for using our services/for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.
